I'm hearing former KFMB reporter Carlo Cecchetto is returning to CBS 8 to replace the departed Andre Moreau as the new weekend guy. I'm not sure when this will happen, but I would expect to see lots of Cecchetto as they push him as the new weekend co-anchor...including filling in for the "on leave until August 28" Stan Miller (if indeed Carlo starts before that date). Cecchetto was anchoring at KMTV in Omaha, Nebraska since January 2007. He was at CBS 8 from 2003-2007. Moreau returned to WAFB-TV in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to co-anchor the 10:00pm newscast. He was formerly a sports anchor at that station. Both KMTV and WAFB are CBS affiliates.

I read the comment on Stan being on medical leave until Aug. 28 however I noticed he is no longer listed on the web site as news anchor. What has happened? If he has a serious or terminal issue, I would love to send a card, perhaps c/o the studio. He and Barbara Lee have such a great chemestry.

I was wondering what had happened to Andre Moreau! Now I know!! I totally had forgotten about Carlo Cecchetto!! I remember him! He's HOT!! I always had a heck of a time pronouncing/spelling his last name-lol!!! Glad to hear he's "probably" coming back to channel 8!! Another reporter that I was wondering about was Marc Prescott. Whatever happened to that HUNK?
