If you're a regular visitor to this blog, you might have noticed I haven't been posting for about the past week. Work-related issues, including long nights poring over 28-page lists of...things...plus assorted and sundry design work all adds up for no time for blogging.
So, as much as I hate to say it, I'm going to go on hiatus for pretty much the entire month of July and into the early part of August. This will be the first extended hiatus of posting since I started this thing in November of 2004. To be honest, the bloom is way off the rose on this for me, and part of the reason for taking an extended period off is for me to gauge just how much I will miss doing this.
Work-related reasons remain the primary reason for doing it, though. I just don't have it in me after 12-14 hour days staring at a computer screen to be witty, charming, and writer-ly, while STILL staring at a computer screen. We'll see what happens once I'm away from it for a while, but for now...thanks for stopping by and maybe I'll see you in August when some small portion of my life is once again mine.
