I took a little time off for my birthday and am now just getting into some alone time on a sunny Sunday afternoon. San Diego has been filled with June gloom the last week or so, and I kinda dig it...it's a nice change from the typical weather fare here and it keeps the temps low and the air conditioning off. And while I love the fact that I have air conditioning, the cheap part of my dual Gemini nature sees dollars blowing out of the vents every time I have it on.
I had a really nice birthday weekend, with dinners with 3 of my closest and dearest friends (close because they are, dear because they paid--there's that cheapskate again), and a good movie thrown in to boot. So now after cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping and lunch, I'm going to make this an official lazy Sunday and just veg on the couch: reading, napping, watching TV, napping, and...oh, yeah, napping. I'm going to milk this birthday weekend thing for every ounce it's worth.
