I'm talking about the blog, dummy. And using gay in the traditional, holiday way. Meaning happy, festive, and well...gay.
Yes, it is already December 1 and WHEW! didn't this year just fly by, YADA-YADA-YADA. Yes, it did fly by. So shut up already. I myself (that's me) cannot really even begin to get into the Christmas spirit until December 1. I realize the traditional holiday season starts on Thanksgiving and runs for an almost-orgiastic full month and then some, if you factor in New Years Eve, which I try not to.
But we would be remiss here at Innocent Bystander worldwide headquarters if we didn't spruce up the joint for the holidays with at least a little taste of Christmas flair. So for the next 30 days or so, enjoy the red and green beauty that is this website. We realize that this will clash with the orange and blue graphics we use on just about every entry (are you sick of them yet?), but f*ck it. I can't get the staff to be motivated about ANYTHING these days, and I'm not going to get them to do a whole mess of special Christmas graphics. Especially for what they're being paid. Although we just may go with all orange graphics for December, since they can be construed as holiday gold. Yeah. That works. Orange is the new gold.
So bask in the warmth of this roaring graphics fire as we head into that most festive--or gay, depending on your own personal proclivities--month of the year. I'm sure we'll take the time to wax nostalgic about the holidays and whine a bit more for you to check out my own personal Amazon wishlist and tip the blogger. Or is that blog the tipper? I can never keep those two straight...
Orange is always orange.
