I have learned some new words, and I thought I would share them with you all, so you can learn them, too.
Gobsmack: to be completely dumbfounded, shocked. From the Irish word "gob" meaning mouth.
Kerfuffle: a disturbance or disagreement.
Let's use them in a sentence, shall we?
"I was completely gobsmacked at the kerfuffle outside of the Hard Rock Cafe, which woke me up at 2:00am on Saturday morning."
There...I whined about something while teaching you something. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it.
Kerfuffle is one of my all-time favorites. So is the phrase absquatulate at the crepuscular time.
Now I must perambulate around my work space and rearrange my tchotchkes in a veiled attempt to look busy. And who doesn't like to get busy rearranging one's tchotchkes, huh? Am i right?

I think that "gobsmacked" is actually a British term.
