I just read this over on EntertainmentWeekly.com:
20th Century Fox has decided to postpone the Wednesday Mexico City premiere of X-Men Origins: Wolverine due to the swine flu crisis, according to People. A rep for 20th Century Fox said, "We were not only concerned about Hugh's welfare – and we would never send anyone into harm's way – but we also have an enormous office filled with people we care about. There was no point in proceeding under the current conditions."
So what's the big f-ing deal? Even if Wolverine caught the swine flu, his mutant healing power would immediately cure him. Okay, maybe the momentary sneezing would cause him to pop his claws, and he might accidentally kill the Fox publicists assigned to the premiere, but the world can live without a few movie studio publicists. Trust me on this.
