Christina Ricci is on Joey tonight and she's looking awfully bad. She's starting to resemble one of those paintings by Margaret Keane, you know, the ones with the people and kids with really big eyes. I've always liked Christina Ricci. She seemed to make interesting choices when it came to roles, but lately, I dunno...her indie cred seems to vanish with something like this and that lame-ass horror movie (Cursed, directed by Wes Craven) she made that came out around Christmas. I mean, she still did The Opposite of Sex and Monster, so I guess she's still a card-carrying indie queen. And (once again) is it me, or as her eyes have gotten bigger, have other parts of her body (known for being prominent), gotten...smaller?
On a similar note, Ed Burns is on Will and Grace tonight for like the third week straight, thus officially killing any indie cred he ever had. If there is a purgatory for stars, it surely must be this show. I think hosting the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade would be a step up.
It's not just you. I actually met her in Ye Rustic Inn (a bar) in L.A. a few years back and, swear to God, I didn't recognize her. It was the not-so-large "tracts of land" that threw me. Okay, maybe the 2 marguaritas and the 3 beers had something to do with it too....
